Annmarie Gianni Skincare – First Impressions

When I was approached by Sue from liveingthelight.co.uk to see if I was interested in trying some products from Annmarie Gianni Skincare, I jumped at the chance!

I had seen some of her products on Instagram accounts such as organicbeautylover and organicbunny and know how well loved they are.

The Annmarie Gianni Skincare range is packed full of non-GMO, pure, organic and wild-crafted ingredients. The company is committed to the Green Beauty movement and cares for their customers’ well-being by only using and natural, safe ingredients. They believe in Truth in Labelling and are of course, Cruelty Free. All of these attributes tick pretty much all of my boxes!

I was sent a fantastic assortment from the range:

Here are some first impressions of me sticking my nose in bottles and poking around in jars…

All products are generous sample or travel sizes which will certainly last me more than a few uses. I have tried a few test patches but have not slathered my face in everything just in case I discover my skin doesn’t like something (not that I’m expecting it to). All, barring the Purifying Mud Mask, are housed in dark brown glass or PETE plastic containers to protect them from sunlight which can damage the delicate ingredients.

ALOE-HERB CLEANSER

This cream cleanser has a pleasant, fresh, scent; not too strong, but enough to make you say, “Mmmm”.

NEROLI TONING MIST

Such a gorgeous scent! I can see why this product is so well loved! Certainly not a clear, watered-down toner, this deep golden liquid is sure to pack a punch!

PURIFYING MUD MASK

Kind of looks like mineral foundation, and smells like… well… dirt. Can’t wait to try this! I do love my masks, and I haven’t tried anything with Rose Clay before.

COCONUT HONEY MASK

Ok, I just want to scoop this out and eat this, it smells exactly like a vanilla coconut macaroon! And yes, I tasted it (I answer the big questions!) and it tastes pretty delicious! With only four organic ingredients, and Annmarie Gianni’s ethos, I wasn’t worried about ingesting something less than desirable.

DEAD SEA FACIAL SCRUB

I was expecting more of a “dead sea mud” scent but I get more lavender than mud, which I am totally fine with, since I love anything lavender. I think this will be perfect for washing the day away before bed and doubles as some aromatherapy as well!

ANTI-AGING SERUM

This is a gorgeous light serum which absorbs quickly into the skin. The scent is more herbal with a hint of floral, again, a delicious scent. Will refrain from licking this one though I think.

ANTI-AGING FACIAL OIL

Oh my goodness I am in heaven with the gorgeous scent of all of these products! I don’t know how to describe it, but its kind of an earthy-floral-fruity deliciousness. I tested a small amount on the back of my hand and it absorbs quicker than expected.

LOVE – ESSENTIAL OIL PARFUM BLEND

All I had to do was open this tiny, but wonderful little bottle and the scent immediately made it to my nose. I didn’t move the bottle around or anything but after I closed it again and walked into the kitchen the scent was still lingering around me. I didn’t apply it anywhere on me, literally only opened the bottle. This is a powerful blend! Beautiful rose and jasmine, exactly what I will have growing in my own garden one day.
